Events : Wolfruna Chapter Club Night Tuesday 7th July
Events Our club nights are held on the first Tuesday of every month at a venue in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, and are attended by around 60-80 members every month. We encourage new members to come along to our club nights and see for themselves what we are about.
It's also a great way to meet new members and make new freinds and have a fun night out with like-minded people. The venue for our club nights is the Electric Club situated on the corner of St Marks Road and Clifton Street Chapel Ash, Wolverhampton.

News & Updates : Ride out to Bourton-on-the-water 26th April
News & Updates Feed Back - Ride out to Bourton-on-the-water 26th April

Hi there,
A Great ride out to Bourton-on-the-water, Sunday 26th April
With thanks to Martin Smith for leading the group as Road Captain
Mick King was the Sweeper.
65 mile run from dealership.
30 people on 21 bikes.

Fantastic rideout on a dry but cloudy day that was very professionally riden by all chapter members. Everybody maintained the second man drop off, which resulted in a very smooth run and keeping the pack together. It was a pleasure to sweep for this ride out.

Cheers Mick King.

News & Updates : Road Captain Feedback
News & Updates Hi All,

I would like to wish all riders that attended the Whitchurch ride-out Sunday 22nd March, 2008 a big thank you for their professionalism displayed, especially the new riders.

It was the first ride-out of the season and it was a pleasure to lead.
16 bikes turned out and a lot of new riders. Everyone performed well and enjoyed themselves, I'm sure they'll be up for more ride-outs as the season starts.

I would also like to ask for a few volunteers,

Wont be a long commitment and we have to be there at 7.30 am (I know it's early). I will be doing it. I just need about 4 or 5 other riders to join in.

News & Updates : Extract from the Express and Star March 2nd
News & Updates Bikers to gather at new country venue

Thousands of bikers from across the region are set to congregate in the countryside near Wolverhampton from this month with the launch of a new weekly gathering.

Live music and entertainment will be on offer when Garden Village, on Bridgnorth Road at Shipley, opens up its two-acre car park to bikers from March 27. The road is a popular route for enthusiasts, who for years converged on The Wheel at Worfield pub further along Bridgnorth Road.

But police intervened, fearing the weekly Wednesday meets were unsafe because some riders would perform dangerous tricks on the national speed limit road and others would race.

The Wheel no longer hosts meetings, prompting Steph Harris, the daughter of Garden Village’s owner, to launch the new event.

She said today: “This road has been renowned for bikers for years now and we’ve decided to do it because we’ve got as massive car park.

“We’re trying to arrange live music and outside entertainment. Bikers like to come down, have a drink and we’re working with Chapel Ash Harley Davidson on some promotions.”

She said she did not anticipate any problems with licensing authorities as the meet would be on private land. Residents would not be disturbed as there were no homes for a mile in either direction.

She added: “There’s room for about 5,000-10,000 bikes and it’s all hard surfaces so the bikes won’t slip.”

Biker Andy Kelly, from Chapel Ash Harley Davidson, said: “Especially on a Friday night, I think it will be really well-attended, more so than before. It’s a safe place with plenty of parking and we’re really looking forward to it.”

News & Updates : Birthday Surprise update
Harley Birthday to you……………

As most things do this Special Day started with a phone call, from Julie’s mum to enquire if we could help out with a surprise Birthday treat.
Her daughter Julie loved all things Harley but had never been on a Ride out and Janet wanted to know if we could help out.
After several phone calls and a little organisation we arrived on Sunday March the 1st as planned outside Julie’s house.
Julie was whisked away to the local bikers café for the obligatory cuppa on the back of a Harley Trike in the capable hands of Roy.
As you can see from the photos (link below) we had a great day and Julie’s family kindly donated a £100 to the Air Ambulance.
As always as part of the Harley family it was wonderful to ride together and to make a Birthday Wish come true. A huge Thank you to all our guys n girls in the Wolfruna Chapter who took the time to make this happen.

Ride Safe.

Helen.
