Lots of events coming in 2010 check Out the Events Calender for our latest events (coming soon)
Wolverhampton Harley Davidson - Wolfruna Chapter are a friendly, family-orientated club, established in November 2003.
Our membership is currently around the 200 mark.
You will always see our members having fun at events and rallies around the UK and Europe, riding our Harleys to bring us together.
Our riding season generally runs from March through to October, but that does not stop us enjoying ourselves all year around.
During the winter months we organise social events such as Skittles nights, Bonfire night, Halloweon Dance, Christmas and New Year dance and Valentines Dance.
We also have Coffee and Doughnuts on Sunday mornings, and many other things to keep us occupied during those non-riding months.
Many of our events throughout the year are opportunities for us to raise funds in support of various charities as well as having fun. We believe in trying to help those who are less fortunate than ourselves in any way that we can.
Our club nights are held on the first Tuesday of every month at a venue in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, and are attended by around 60-80 members every month. We encourage new members to come along to our club nights and see for themselves what we are about.
It's also a great way to meet new members and make new freinds and have a fun night out with like-minded people. The venue for our club nights is the Electric Club situated on the corner of St Marks Road and Clifton Street Chapel Ash, Wolverhampton.
Always remember; never ride faster than your angel can fly.

Mothers Day Bikers Event 2010 March 14th
Mothers Day Bikers Event 2010
Thousands of bikers from throughout the country are planning a spectacular mass ride through Wootton Bassett in Wiltshire on Mothers Day to honour soldiers who have lost their lives in Afghanistan.
More than 1,000 riders are expected to ride through the Wiltshire town on Sunday March 14 and then gather on the runway at RAF Lyneham. They will there hand over funds raised for the Afghan Heroes charity set up last September by a group of mothers who lost their sons in Afghanistan.
The bikers will descend on Wiltshire from throughout the UK and gather at the Leigh Delamere services on the M4 (Junction 17 - eastbound) before the mass ride through Wootton Bassett to RAF Lyneham at 12 noon where the fallen were repatriated into the UK.
Each rider will pay £5 (on the day) and receive a special commemorative Afghan Heroes wristband, which will be their entry pass to the RAF base.
All proceeds raised from the ride will go to the Afghan Heroes charity, which helps our service personnel in theatre, families of the fallen and our returning troops.
All riders wishing to attend please meet at Strensham Services (M5) at 08.30am where we will be joined by Birmingham Chapter.
If you would like to attend this event please complete a form, as you will need to be pre-registered to enter the RAF base. Click the picture Link below:

Toy Run
Wolfruna Chapter Toy Run 2009
Twas the week before Christmas and all was well in Chapter Land. JB had sent out his helpers and the collection of toys was beginning to look impressive. It was the time of year when those in leather dropped the ‘hard looking’ persona and opted for the more softer, squashy, fluffy teddy bear type approach.
Toys had come in left right and centre and those at JB’s workplace could now rest easy following the shopping spree that he had persuaded them to take. Toys had been handed in at Chapter Night, toys had been brought to the Dealership, toys had been obtained by Andy Williams and his trustee sidekick Jude and toys had adorned JB’s bedroom which looked more like Santa’s Grotto than Santa’s Grotto did!
The Kray Twin’s had caught sight of the toys and had rubbed their hands together only to be told by JB in his best Scrooge voice that they were not for them but for children who were less fortunate.
This would be the fourth year that the Chapter had visited the Broadmeadow Nursery in Wolverhampton, that catered for children from 2 to 6 years who suffered from learning difficulties, autism and other such conditions. The supply of toys would stock up the Toy Library for yet another year.
The Toy Run took place on a bright morning in December and the stalwarts of the Toy Run arrived at the Dealership for a quick coffee before the ride up to the Nursery. JB’s other half, Mary Jane was driving the sleigh, well not so much of a sleigh but her reliable runabout which was stacked to the gills with wrapped presents. She had drawn the line at JB’s suggestion of having the Fire Service take the roof off so it looked more ‘sleigh like’. Trev Newman donned the Santa suit and had a ‘Gok’ moment as he left the belt off!
And off they set, JB in the lead, followed by the 10 – 1 shot ‘Tona’ with Santa Trev a neck behind. Bringing up the rear was the ‘sleigh’ which was finding it difficult due to the weight of the presents.
On the way people were waving and honking their horns at the sight of Santa and his gang of leather clad elves?
The gates to the Nursery were opened and in they rode. What was not expected was the hysterical welcome from the nearby primary school that had spotted Santa Trev and were shouting ‘Santa’ at the top of their voices. Trev, not being used to such public attention managed his best ‘ho ho ho’ and was now sporting those well known rosy red cheeks! I did pity the primary school teachers who now had the task of trying to calm the kids down!
We went into the school hall and the mats on the floor were duly adorned with the numerous presents. A moment of calm ensued before the excited nursery pupils entered and made a bee line for the gifts.

Wolfruna 2010
Wolfruna 2010
Hi all,
Happy new year.
Firstly may i wish Andy Williams and John Brindley much success in their new roles as Director and Assistant Director. As you will all know, they have been passionate and highly enthusiastic about the Chapter for many years and have commited to me to bring Wolfruna Chapter back to it's former glory. Many changes to the formats of communication and also the riding calender will be coming, so watch out for news from the commitee and road captains soon.
You should have all received membership renewals by now. Please return into the Dealership by the 31st January as we would like to get the new pins to you along with the new membership card. Keep your eyes open (call me if you don't get one) for the new card as it will entitle Chapter members only, to10% discount. It will also accrue a further 10% equivalent in points, similar to tesco against further purchases. Tell you more when it comes out, but worth £50 if you were to purchase it from the shop without Chapter discount.
I am very excited about this year with the Chapter as we all view it as a new venture. Please make sure you air your opinions to Andy and John - they want to make the Chapter number 1 in the UK. There will be plenty of weekly rides on offer and they could do with your help in favourite destinations.
I look forward to meeting you all in time and once again, here is to a great 2010.
Dave Kennedy
CMA Leader

Christmas came early
MANY THANKS
On Thursday 3rd December, I received a call from Dave Kennedy (Dealer Principal).
A request had been heard on Beacon Radio asking if anyone could help bring Christmas forward to a young family in Sedgley, 42 year old Yvette had been diagnosed with terminal cancer, her only wish was to hear carol singers.....
Her wish was more than granted when not only did she get carol singers, Santa arrived with his sleigh, presents were delivered and offers poured in from kind hearted Black Country people.
After speaking to Beacon presenters Fresh and Jo it was arranged that we would have a show of bikes on Saturday 5th December for her husband Will and her 8 year old son Kai.
With deep regret Yvette sadly passed away early on Friday 4th December.
After numerous phone calls it was agreed to carry on as promised so as not to disappoint Kai. Much to our amazement the whole street turned out and a short visit ended up being more than 3 hours with everyone wanting to ride on the back of the bikes, with Kai trying every bike.
A big thank you to all and to Dave Kennedy for supplying Harley presents, we certainly put a smile and a fair few tears on everyone's faces
Andy
It was an honour 1 week later to be asked to lead Yvette's funeral, once again our members did us proud by turning out on a wet and bitterly cold day. Also a big thank you to Jason (Director of B'ham Chapter) for joining us.
